Environmental Consultant Vacancies in consulting company Maret 2010
PT Hatfield Indonesia (PTHI) was established in 1990 and is a growing environmental consulting company to support operation in Bogor Office, we are looking for qualified and experienced individuals to join our team as : ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST .
The selected individual will work under the supervision of the Environment Manager and other senior staff and join a team of specialists/scientists with working in environment, forestry, and geomatics.
ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST
REQUIREMENTS:
Have experience working on environmental projects or in environmental consultancy in Indonesia 5 years;
Have experience working in the oil and gas sector is an asset;
Have experience with air quality monitoring (i.e. air emissions) is an asset;
Possess good network of contacts from environmental organizations;
Graduate Bachelor’s degree S1 in Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, and/or related fields of specialization;
Familiar with Indonesian environmental regulations for numerous sectors: mining, oil and gas, etc.;
Computer skills: MS Office, MS Project, Statistical Software (or other additional as an advantage);
Excellent communication, analytical and writing skills; and
Very good English proficiency both oral and written
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contributing to and managing aspects of various environmental projects some of which will include: Environmental Impact Assessments, Environmental Monitoring, Environmental Audits, Environmental Baseline Surveys, and liaise with government bodies for environmental permit approval;
Assisting in the development of proposals for various environmental projects (as mentioned above);
Analyzing data and report writing related with environmental projects, particularly water quality and sediment chemistry; and
Reporting and coordinating project activities with senior management.
