SHIPPING OFFICER
Requirement :
You will have at lease 4 years experience in similar positions;
Good understanding of the Customs/ Freight Provider systems desirable;
Good understanding of shipping management process as well as sound understanding of the logistics functions desirable;
Excellent communication and customer relation skills and Time management and organizational skills.
Graduate Bachelor Degree S1 in related subject;
Excellent Communication, negotiation and presentation skills, both Indonesia and English
PC Literate with Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
Responsibilities :
Manage the import and export documentation for product entering the country, ensuring that necessary paperwork is true and accurate in order with Customs requirements. Manage both internal and external vendor with advance shipping notices to ensure the necessary people are kept aware of shipment status.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS :
Communicate with the supplier to collect all invoices required for clearance process.
Create and record shipment in Pronto.
Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
Confer and correspond with service provider representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications.
Expedite goods to get custom process complete as soon as the vessel docking.
Provide all documents required by airfreight service provider for importation process, NPWP, Letter of Attorney, Delivery Note, etc
All export and import process (repair return, return to vendor, etc)
All activity related to Custom and clearance issues.
Process returns, as approved including entering the return on system, ensuring the return is processed and credit note issued when completed.
Gather, distribute and maintain documentation as required for Customs audits.
Regular updates for relevant internal and external customers of pending arrival of shipments.
Expedite and follow up outstanding purchase orders for delivery and consolidation.
